Why North County Citizens for a Clean Environment?

 

We formed this group to help give a voice to North County residents and working families, who may feel left out of the decision-making process and who may not agree with all of the unchecked growth and buildings seemingly popping up everywhere you look, with little regard to the impacts that all of this growth is having on worsening traffic, pollution and out quality of life in our communities.

We believe strongly in fostering a more informed electorate that collaborates with local officials on land use and development decisions that impact our lives and neighborhoods in the present, and in the future. Together our voices are strong and cannot be ignored.

We are an informal and diverse coalition of North County residents, working families, small businesses, environmental activists, and human beings, who simply care about the future of our communities and growing in a responsible and sustainable way that does not sacrifice who we are and why we love living in North County.
