Working towards a sustainable Future in North County that incorporates growth, without sacrificing our environment, natural resources and our quality of life in the Present.

North County is undergoing tremendous growth, changing the area that we all love and cherish. While not all change is bad, it is important that decisions are being made by our local officials with all of our futures in mind, including impacts to the environment and our local neighborhoods.

Too often, we learn about or see a new shopping center, big box store or hundreds of homes being built, without ever having known about it. These projects and decisions by our local officials impact not only our day to day to lives, traffic, pollution and our environment, but what our communities and quality of life are going to be for years and future generations to come.

Growth and development of land and natural resources in our communities needs to be a collaborative process between the residents and local officials who we have elected to make responsible and sustainable decisions for our community’s betterment and long-term future. We cannot be passive if we want to effect change. It requires being active and informed in our local communities. It requires being present if we want to have a say in our future.
